Andrej Karpathy Joins Anthropic to Lead AI Pretraining Research

Andrej Karpathy, a founding member of OpenAI and former head of Tesla’s AI unit, has joined Anthropic to lead a new team focused on accelerating pretraining research for the Claude model [1].
